Garage Door Solutions has been locally owned and operated for more than 20 years. We service customers in Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota and the surrounding region.

We work on all brands of garage doors and garage door openers. We install Liftmaster®, Chamberlain® and Genie® garage door openers.

My garage door springs broke. I called Garage Door Solutions and they arrived at my house 2 hours later. They completed the work with in 30 minutes. They are also reasonably priced. I highly recommend Garage Door Solutions. They will be my first call for any future garage door needs.

The opener in my garage needed an upgrade due to being too old to be paired with safety eyes. I purchased a new opener I found a deal on with the intent to install myself as I am fairly handy. However, I quickly realized I was out of my depth with the timeline I was on.

After calling around to see if the local professionals, Garage Door Solutions was one of two that returned my call and the only one willing to install an opener that wasn't purchased through them.

Terry was able to fit me in within the same week of contact for a very reasonable price. He and his partner were able to arrive early and get everything installed within an hour without issue. He left the worksite cleaner than he found it and was willing to haul off the old one he replaced (and an even older one the previous home owner left in the rafters). He even let me know the opener I chose was a solid one, without prompting, which I appreciated.

I would absolutely hire Terry and his crew again in the future should I need their services.

They came very quickly, got everything done fast and well. The team was friendly, professional and went above and beyond to help change an unrelated light bulb while they were on their ladders. My door runs smoother than ever and they were able to help us program the door like we wanted.

Folks,,,I screwed up big time. After a recent blizzard, I failed to push my snowblower in all the way, and my garage door closed on it. My snowblower was fine, but sadly, my garage door was not. I broke the carriage and one of the struts on the door looked like it went 12 rounds with vintage Mike Tyson. I tried fixing the issue myself after a couple of IPAs, but I ended up looking more manic and out of control than the titular character of the box office hit, “Cocaine Bear.” My wife was rightfully upset with my act of buffoonery and I was sleeping in the doghouse. Luckily, I had a solution: Garage Door Solutions. They showed up before I could even hang up the phone. They looked at the damage I had caused and explained to me my options in a way that even my toddlers could understand (I’m a father of two, NBD). They fixed the problem expeditiously and the bill was cheaper than my weekly Costco run. The heroes at Garage Door Solutions saved not only my garage door, but also my marriage. I am forever indebted to them and cannot recommend them enough.
